Trompe L'oeil
Trompe’l’oeil, French for “fools the eye,” is a style of painting in which objects are depicted with photographically realistic detail and perspective.
This technique can add the feeling of openness and light to a small, dark space. Windows and doors can be created to give the illusion of a scenic view of the outdoors, or added perspective can transform a mundane space into an artistic focal point.
